FABRIC PRINTING
Many of the fabrics Megan uses are actually hand screen printed in Bali from her artwork.
We thought we'd show you the process.

We recently visited Bali and took some shots of our printers working on our Melody Silk Scarf print.

It was really great to see these guys working on our designs. They take such care and are very happy to be working with us.

Here's Megan checking the quality of the Peacocks screen. Peacocks is one of our prints from this summer season, Birds of Paradise.

The Peacocks Ally Dress is made from silk habutae and after printing with two different reds the fabric has been over-dyed to a natural colour. It's then made up into styles like the Ally Dress, seen here, and can be worn as a long shirt or dress!
The Peacocks design came about because Megan wanted to create a Toile de Jouy design using drawings of Australian trees mixed up with peacocks.
Toile de Jouy - is typically a type of printed calico with a characteristic floral, figure, or landscape design on a light background. We often see it used in French home interiors.

There are so many new prints and styles in our wonderful summer season -
We cant wait to launch it
1st September!
