Product Details
A gorgeous shape on the body. It's a very lightweight textured cotton fabric that features a broad pinstripe. We've done it in a capri because in the heat of summer, that 7/8th length on the body is really gorgeous worn with slides or sandals.
This capri is based on our mariner pants, with beautiful vertical pockets at the side seams, a really lovely faced waistband and centre front invisible zip so that there is absolutely no bulk in the hips of this trouser. A very smooth elegant shape on the body, it features elastic on the sides of the waist for comfort and fit, finishing with a nice tapered leg.

Style & Design
behind the design
Seersucker has been used throughout history to make garments suitable for hot weather. It is woven in such a way that some threads bunch together to give it it's unique puckered texture. It is usually a thin cotton fabric, often striped or chequered. Interestingly, the word originates from the Persian words shir and shakar meaning milk and sugar to symbolise the gritty texture of sugar and smoothness of milk.
