This is an exceptional mid length tailored skirt that will give you years of service. It has a substantial waistband and features box pleats that open low down past your hips so the skirt is fairly straight until lower where it cascades with fullness. It is reminiscent of the kind of skirt women wore in the 1800's so makes an excellent choice for formal events.  It is made from the finest twill linen and fully lined with acetate.
