Why bamboo?

 
Not only is bamboo softer than silk, it's breath-ability and smooth texture makes it one of the most comfortable fabrics you'll ever wear!
 
Using bamboo as a form of fabric is not a new concept, it has been around for thousands of years. In contemporary times, the process of making bamboo has been perfected.
 

How is it made?

 
Part of what makes bamboo sustainable is its capability to grow quickly in poor conditions.   
 
The wood part of the bamboo is crushed and then natural enzymes are applied to help break down the bamboo cell walls. The natural fibers are then mechanically combed out and spun into yarn.
