THE HISTORY.........
Ponti or Ponte was first developed in Italy. Ponte De Roma means "Roman Bridge" which is suggested by the arrangement of loops in the weave.It became popular in the 60's when it was used for activewear like ski pants.
THE FABRIC.........
65% COTTON 30% POLYESTER 5% SPANDEX
Ponti is a thick double knit fabric that provides a two-way stretch.The fabric is tightly woven so it will hold it's shape and colour well,making it a good investment piece for your wardrobe.
THE FEEL & FIT.........
Ponti moulds to the body while providing smooth and streamline silhouettes.The thickness of the fabric provides structure and support (lift and pull) whereneeded. The weight & stretch is so comfortable on the body.
EASY CARE.........
Ponti is machine washable and you will not need to iron it every time you need to wear it.
