Enigma is a collection that harks back to the 1940’s in many ways, drawing inspiration from there salience and strength of women working, finding their independence and presenting themselves as strong and feminine in a tough time in history.
We are going through another tough time in history presently and I wanted to reflect on the values that we all think are important to women. I create clothes that give women a sense of identity and in this collection I have created stories that will give lots of options for women to embrace.

The archetypical story that says it all for me this season is teacake. This is a small story of dresses that one could wear to high tea as much as work in. The velvet bow detail is like a print across the torso reminding us of girly prettiness but in a sophisticated way. The embroidered rayon drapes softly on the body and the shapes are really flattering. From there we discover lots of different wool textures and weights that perform well in cardis, trousers and coats.
I discovered a silk wool mix that is warm but very light called deluxe. This fabric is limited in stock but comes in charcoal and indigo. The deluxe temple coat is a mix of Victorian primness and Alice in Wonderland.
