The new 40's dress design is retro inspired with a touch of Shakespearean romance.
The botany new 40's dress is made from a delicate brocade linen that feels quite dressy.This dress has all of the drape and softness of a classic 40's frock seen in the movies and is very feminine. It is fitted through the bodice and features a high waist seam and low vee neck. The skirt is loose and a-lined. The dress features flap pockets with button detailing and subtle romantic Shakespearean sleeves that finish delicately at bracelet length. This dress is fully lined with cotton and makes a great work or event dress.
