The monastic coat is a loose fit slightly high waisted shirt style coat with a mandarin or grandpa collar. It has long sleeves and the skirt has box pleats which fall gracefully down the body. It has side pockets. this coat can be worn as a long shirt, a dress or as a coat. The poly knit jersey is soft and warm and extremely comfortable to wear.

Megan has always been fascinated with Marco Polo’s travels and the ancient trade route called the silk road which played a central role in economic and cultural interactions between East and West.
Echoing the fascinating travels of Marco Polo, this striking print reimagines distant empires, bustling markets, cultural and mercantile exchanges, along ancient trade routes. A layered tapestry of maps, textile motifs, and typography intertwines with imagery of traders and travelers—medieval to modern—evoking the wonder of legendary journeys. The eclectic composition, rich with diverse influences, reflects the Silk Road’s dynamic intersections of art and tradition. Rendered in soft beiges and browns on a natural base, accented by stylized floral patterned bands of vermillion and olive green, balancing vibrancy and subtlety at every level.
