Behind the design
Megan has put together a collection of historical chintz motifs to make this wonderful print of birds and flowers. She has faithfully recreated the worn feel of an historical fragment of cloth by keeping the design soft in tone and contrast.
‘I have purposely made it look old and beaten like an old fabric fragment in a museum. I chose to print onto natural linen for that reason.’
