behind the design
This fabric is a Megan Salmon original print that was screen printed by hand onto linen.
Megan loves the stylisation of imagery and colour in Eastern European folk textiles and embroideries. She paid homage to these bu creating her own Australiana imagery and applying those design conventions. She gives us a wonderfully bright and punchy print full of plants and animal.
