behind the design
From a scratchy charcoal drawing of a bird in a floral setting Megan added elements of coins and butterfly wings that made the scene seem mystical, bewildering and otherworldly. When deciding what to call it she landed on Rosencrantz, a medieval word for a wreath of roses.
