Lyrebird
Continuing to draw inspiration from the natural world, Megan finds particular fascination in how it has been depicted throughout history in textiles and interiors. Her exploration led her to delve into Toile de Jouy, a classic French textile style known for its elaborate patterns printed in a single color on a light background. This exploration sparked Megan's pondering on historically exotic creatures, such as the lyrebird.
Using ink as her medium, Megan has created a lyrical essence and rhythm of the lyrebird in her drawings.
